DDoS-Protection Appliance Overview
aurologic offers full-stack DDoS-Protection appliance environments, operated within customer infrastructure. The feature-set as well as available capacity depends on licensed (contracted) capacity. Capacity licenses start at 100 Gbps which is the available throughput for traffic cleaning. Higher capacity licenses are available of up to 400 Gbps per DDoS-Protection deployment. Multiple deployments (appliances) can be clustered to reach multi Terabit capacity per customer environment. Anycast is available, allowing further scale-out.
The customer is responsible to provide and operate proper hardware. During onboarding, aurologic makes recommendations and provides required hardware capacity depending on licensed DDoS-Protection capacity. aurologic deploys and maintains the DDoS-Protection setup based on the provided equipment. In order to do so, aurologic requires IPMI access with Remote Console and Virtual Media capabilities as well as public available address space, e.g. /29 IPv4-Subnet.
