DDoS-Protection Application Overview
DDoS-Protection with aurologic offers the ability for flowShield based filtering of application specific attacks. A wide variety of applications is available through flexrule specific mapping - or by default on common port ranges.
Common Port Ranges
Application filters are applied on the following ranges, allowing to use them without the need of defining flexrules.
- UDP/53 -> Challenge Response Filter for DNS Servers
- UDP/1194 -> OpenVPN Filter for OpenVPN Community Edition Servers
- UDP/2896 -> SCUM Gameserver (requires TCP on Port 2895)
- UDP/2300 -> DayZ and Arma 3 Gameserver
- UDP/3659 -> Battlefield 4 Gameserver
- UDP/4970-4980 -> Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Gameserver
- UDP/7000-8999 -> Generic Gameserver - including Secret Laboratory, Mordhau, AltV
- UDP/9000-9999 -> Teamspeak 3 Voiceserver
- UDP/22000-22126 -> Multi Theft Auto / Rage-MP
- UDP/27000-27500 -> Steam A2S (works for most Steam based Games)
- UDP/28015 -> RakNet, for example Rust PC Gameserver
- UDP/30000-32000 -> FiveM / Red-M - relies on TCP connection
- UDP/51820 -> Wireguard VPN Server
